WABL Development Camp - (Domestic Div 1/2)

During the upcoming School Holidays we are running workouts for:

U12 Boys & Girls playing Division 1 or 2 Domestic Basketball (born 2014 - 2016)

U14 Boys & Girls playing Division 1 or 2 Domestic Basketball (born 2013 - 2012)

This is not daycare, this program is run by Division 1 WABL & State Coaches, not teenagers.  

The workout will be a mix of competitive drills, scrimmages and fundamental skill development to help players prepare for the upcoming WABL 2025 Tryouts.  

TIME AND DATES:

U12 Boys & Girls (born 2014, 2015 & 2016): Friday 11th July 9:00am - 11:00am

U14 Boys & Girls (born 2013 - 2012): Friday 11 July 11:30am - 1:30pm

Cost for Holiday Camps:

$95 per player

Venue: Duncraig Recreation Centre 

To be eligible for this program you must:

• Be playing in a domestic club team in Division 1 or 2, or
• Be playing WABL Division 5 or 6
• Born 2012 - 2016
  
• Not be a beginner (this program is not suitable for beginners)
  
• Players are required to wear a reversible training singlet 

This program is designed to improve a domestic players skill level to potentially gain selection to a WABL team in 2025/26, as well to develop lower division WABL players. This program is not suitable for Domestic players with no plans to try-out for WABL 2025/26.   

U12 please bring a size 5 basketball 
U14 please bring a size 6 basketball 

Players will be given a break half-way through, please bring a snack.  

Players will be challenged and skills will be taught at game pace.  Athletes will be put through their paces to ensure their skills improve and they continue their journey to hopefully try-out for a WABL Team next season.   

Players are required to wear a reversible training singlet, if you wish you can purchase an Armstrong reversible training singlet, please do this asap as there is limited stock. Please wear basketball shoes and athletic clothing (no shorts with pockets, no jeans, no track pants, no denim shorts). 

Non-basketball shoes will not be allowed on the basketball court.
